Ministry Experience

Pastor Shirley Hood has faithfully served in ministry for more than 25 years, answering God’s call through a variety of leadership roles, including Praise and Worship Leader, Choir Director, Minister, Elder, and Pastor. Throughout her ministry journey, she has remained committed to serving with humility, compassion, and a passion for seeing lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ.

She was ordained under the late Overseer Mary Ann Jones and faithfully served alongside Pastor Pam Bird. Now celebrating five years of pastoral ministry, Pastor Hood continues to lead with courage, wisdom, and purpose.

For more than a decade, she shared and hosted the Gospel through Reflections TV Ministry, providing biblical teaching, interviewing public influencers and leaders who brought encouragement and spiritual insight to viewers seeking hope and direction.

In addition to her pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Hood serves as a spiritual advisor for a transitional home for women and children, offering guidance, support, and mentorship through the principles of the Five-Fold Ministry. She previously served as Pastor of Trinity Tabernacle Church and now serving as the ordained Lead Pastor of Greater Love Outreach Ministries, a ministry founded by Senior Pastor Mark Jones. In every season of service, Pastor Hood has remained faithful to God’s calling, walking in obedience and trusting His direction.

Community Impact

Pastor Hood’s influence extends beyond the church walls through community outreach initiatives and faith-based festivals that bring people together in fellowship, encouragement, and worship. Through these festivals, she raises awareness of important issues affecting the community, helping to educate, inspire, and connect individuals with valuable resources and support.

She is especially known for her heart for people and her commitment to helping others experience healing, restoration, and spiritual growth. Pastor Hood is passionate about equipping individuals to discover their God-given purpose and confidently pursue the destiny God has prepared for them.

Personal Life

Beyond her ministry work, Pastor Hood treasures her role as a mother to her two sons, Carlo, 18, and Jeremiah, 12, who bring her great joy and inspiration.
